John 20:25-27

²⁵ So the other disciples said to him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe!”

²⁶ And after eight days his disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Although^[a] the doors had been shut, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said, “Peace to you.” ²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, “Place your finger here and see my hands, and place your hand and put it^[b] into my side. And do not be unbelieving, but believing!”
